A “gear list” post is in the queue. I’ve updated a few items (pad, tent, pack) since my 2009 gear list post, but it is a good general guide to how I pack for three-season trips in California. My Philmont pack was very similar to this, but with an MLD Speedmid tent and a NeoAir pad.
